Chalupas Verdes

Delicious and typical of Puebla, these green chalupas are a recipe brought from the city of Puebla; prepare them and enjoy!

  • 1/2 kilos skirt steak
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons granulated beef bouillon
  • 8 chalupas, cooked
  • 1 cup green salsa
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • double cream cheese, crumbled
  • salt

  • Cook the meat with half of the onion, garlic, and bouillon cubes until the meat is tender.
  • Shred the beef brisket and set aside.
  • Chop the other half of the onion.
  • Fry the chalupas in oil and top with green sauce.
  • Then place the shredded meat on top.
  • Finally, garnish with chopped onion and cheese.
