Provoleta with Tomato and Basil

  • 250 grams provolone cheese
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bunch basil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • baguettes

  • Peel the garlic clove and rub it on a clay pot to add flavor.
  • Dice a tomato into cubes.
  • Slice the other tomato and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the tomato slices on the pot and on top of them the Provolone cheese, then add the diced tomato and basil on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.
  • Remove and serve hot accompanied by baguette bread.
