Your guests will be fascinated by these bacon-wrapped sausages drenched in a sweet and sour sauce; they won't be able to resist eating just one. This sausage recipe has a slightly spicy flavor that only Salsa Huichol® Tradicional can give to all your dishes.
2 tablespoons butter, for the sweet and sour sauce
1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the sweet and sour sauce
1/2 cups ketchup, for the sweet and sour sauce
2 tablespoons mustard, for the sweet and sour sauce
4 tablespoons honey, for the sweet and sour sauce
1 cup Salsa Huichol® traditional sauce, for the sweet and sour sauce (190 ml)
1 cup shaker sausage
Mozzarella cheese, cut into strips

2 cups shaker sausage
ranch dressing, to accompany

Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the garlic, ketchup, mustard, honey, and Salsa Huichol® Tradicional for 10 minutes over low heat, or until it has a thick consistency. Let it cool and set aside.
On a cutting board, cut the cocktail sausages in half and add a strip of cheese, place the other half of the sausage on top, wrap the sausages with bacon, and secure with toothpicks.
Cook the sausages in a skillet over medium heat until the bacon is slightly golden, then add the sweet and sour sauce you made in the first step and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and take out the toothpicks.
Serve the bacon-wrapped cocktail sausages on a platter with skewers and accompany with ranch dressing.
