Toasted Bread with Roasted Tomato, Caramelized Onion, and Spanish Chorizo

Delicious recipe for toasted bread with oven-roasted tomato, dressed with caramelized onion and chorizo. It is an easy recipe, where the flavor of the baked tomato makes this preparation very special.

  • 4 Bimbo® toasted bread
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 20 slices Spanish chorizo
  • 100 milliliters olive oil
  • 10 grams dried oregano
  • 20 grams butter
  • 10 grams ground pepper
  • 15 grams salt flower

  • Cut the tomato in half and add a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano. Roast in the oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes.
  • Slice the onion and fry it at low temperature with butter, making sure it doesn’t burn. Season.
  • Remove the tomato from the oven. Mash it and place it on the toasted bread, then add the chorizo and onion on top.
