Breaded fish with shrimp

  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 envelopes Goya® saffron seasoning, for the fish

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 white fish fillets
  • 1 cup table cream
  • 1 envelope Goya® saffron seasoning, for the shrimp
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 800 grams medium-sized shrimp, clean
  • lemon, for garnish
  • cilantro leaves, for garnish
  • rice, for accompaniment

  • Mix the breadcrumbs, Goya® saffron seasoning, salt, and pepper on a plate and set aside.Dredge the fish in flour, ensuring the fillet is well coated, then transfer to the egg mixture, and finally, bread with the breadcrumb and Goya® saffron seasoning mixture.Repeat the same process with all the fish fillets and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, fry the fish fillets on both sides for 8 minutes or until golden. Place on a plate with paper towels and set aside.
  • For the shrimp with creamy sauce: blend the half-and-half, Goya® saffron seasoning, water, cream cheese, salt, and pepper until you get a smooth sauce.
  • Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the shrimp, and cook for 5 minutes. When they are golden, add the sauce and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Serve the breaded fish, add the shrimp, garnish with slices of yellow lemon and cilantro leaves, and accompany with rice.
