Cod Puff Pastry

Stuffed puff pastry is always delicious, especially if you can make an easy recipe with the leftovers from the night before; the combination of puff pastry filled with cod in Vizcaína sauce served with güero chili will delight you.

  • 1 kilo puff pastry
  • 1/4 cups wheat flour, for rolling out the puff pastry
  • 1 egg, for brushing
  • cod, without liquid, for filling
  • fresh thyme
  • cherry tomato
  • olives, for decoration
  • salad, for serving

  • Preheat the oven to 200° C.
  • On a clean surface, sprinkle flour and use a rolling pin to roll out the dough, cut to obtain a square, fill with cod on one half, brush with egg, and fold to close.
  • Roll out more puff pastry and cut thick strips for decoration, brush the previous preparation with beaten egg and form a lattice. Brush the lattice and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Cut, serve, and enjoy.
