Curry Shrimp

Curry is a sauce rich in spices that pairs well with fish, seafood, chicken, and tofu. This shrimp curry recipe is spectacular.

  • 500 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoons ground cilantro
  • 3/4 cups fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

  • In a medium pot, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Sauté the garlic, ginger, curry, cumin, and ground cilantro for 1 minute.
  • Add the cream and salt to the mixture and cook on high heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and add the shrimp, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp to the curry sauce and mix well.
