The curry is a very rich sauce that combines well with fish, seafood, chicken and tofu. This curry recipe with shrimp is spectacular.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 500 grams of shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 spoonfuls of fresh ginger chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon of coriander powder
  • 3/4 of Cup of fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 2 spoonfuls of fresh coriander chopped

    Preparation

    In a medium saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Brown garlic, ginger, curry, cumin and cilantro powder for 1 minute.
    Add the cream and salt to the mixture and cook over high heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce is thick.
    In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and add the shrimp, pepper and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
    Add the shrimp to the curry sauce and mix well.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve on a bed of rice and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

    TIPS

    Accompany shrimp with natural yogurt and chutney.

    Exquisita No utilice jengibre, use leche de coco 1 taza, no use cilantro en polvo, use comino en polvo, 1/2 cebolla picada y mucho cilantro fresco. Salió como para chuparse los dedos.....

    Muy buena, con todo y sustituciones No use jengibre, no use crema, use leche como sustituto y use fecula de maiz como espesante y mucho cilantro, quedo perfecto... La receta esta buena!
