Fish Gratin

Fish gratin is an easy and rich recipe. It is a different way of preparing the fish, accompanying it with purple onion, fish broth to make it juicy and gratin cheese. Definitely a dish to suck your fingers.

  • 1 kilo fish fillet, and without thorns

  • 2 leaves bay, and fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 cups fish broth, or of vegetables
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cups parsley, chopped

  • 2 red onions, slices
  • 2 potatoes, slices
  • 1 cup cheese, grating, of your preference

  • The salted fillets are placed in a pan with olive oil.
  • The onion and the sliced ​​potatoes , the bay leaves and the fresh rosemary are distributed in a uniform way.
  • Add the mustard spoonful to the steaks (if you want you can place them in the pot with the mustard spread on the fish).
  • Broth is added when onions and potatoes are bright, be careful not to stick to the pan.
  • Then, cover the whole preparation with three quarts of milk, let it break the boil.
  • Bring to a minimum heat and in a cup place the corn starch or cornstarch with the rest of the milk and dissolve it.
  • Mixed milk with corn starch is added evenly.
  • It is cooked for a few more minutes stirring until a cream is made and the grated cheese is added.
  • When finished, add chopped parsley.
  • You can accompany it with white rice or steamed vegetables.
