Almond Cod

  • 1/2 kilos Langa® cod
  • 1/2 kilos tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 new potatoes, cooked
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 20 Excelencia® olives, chopped
  • 150 grams Bogador® capers
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic in oil Nature In®
  • 200 grams Bogador® piquillo pepper
  • 150 grams unsalted almonds, filleted Our Land
  • 250 Sierra Gata® olive oil
  • 1/2 liters tomato purée, Helios
  • 1 sprig fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 5 allspice berries
  • 2 bay
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch oregano powder

  • The cod should be soaked in water two days before preparing it and rinsed each day to remove excess salt; once this is done, proceed to shred it.
  • Heat the oil in a pot and when it is very hot, add onion and garlic until golden.
  • Then add all the ingredients except the cod.
  • Fry on very low heat for 45 minutes, drain the cod and fry for 15 more minutes.
