  • 500 grams shrimp

  • 2 tablespoons La Costeña® mayonnaise with lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 La Costeña® pickled long chili peppers
  • 3 slices La Costeña® canned pineapple
  • 1/4 cups red onion, fileted
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon liquid from a can of pickled chili peppers

  • parsley, for garnish
  • rice, for accompaniment

  • On a cutting board, butterfly the shrimp, season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix La Costeña® mayonnaise with lemon juice, butter, soy sauce, La Costeña® hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Brush the shrimp with the previous mixture and marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Place the shrimp in a strainer and cook on a grill on both sides until cooked through.
  • On the same grill, roast the La Costeña® canned pineapple and chop it into cubes on a cutting board.
  • On a cutting board, slice the La Costeña® pickled long peppers into thin strips.
  • For the tropical sauce, in a bowl, mix the La Costeña® pickled long peppers, La Costeña® canned pineapple, red onion, lemon juice, oregano, the pickling liquid from the peppers, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve the shrimp with the tropical sauce on top, garnish with parsley, and accompany with rice. Enjoy.
