Maki sushi

With this maki sushi, you can learn to make sushi rice from scratch, a very versatile dish that you can combine with whatever you want.   • 1/2 cups rice, for sushi
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/8 cups rice vinegar
  • 8 pieces nori
  • 1 cup shrimp
  • 1 cup cream cheese, in strips
  • 1 cup carrot, in strips
  • 1 cup cucumber, in strips
  • 1 cup avocado, in strips
  • soy sauce, To accompany

  • For the rice, add it to a saucepan along with the water, sugar and rice vinegar. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. It cools.
  • On a bamboo mat with non-stick plastic, place the nori seaweed and cover the rice with your wet hands, fill with the shrimp the cream cheese, carrot, cucumber and avocado. Roll up and press down to form the sushi roll.
  • Dampen the knife with the water and cut into 8 pieces.
  • Serve and accompany with soy sauce.
