Salmon with Creamy Yellow Lemon Sauce

This delicious salmon is easy and quick to prepare with fresh asparagus, served with a creamy yellow lemon sauce and a touch of white wine, accompanied by mashed potatoes, will be your favorite. So tasty!

  • 4 salmon, cut into pieces of approximately 200 g
  • 10 asparagus, blanched
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons flour, for sauce
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for sauce
  • 1 cup whipping cream, for sauce
  • 1/2 cups white wine, for sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, for sauce
  • 1 pinch fresh thyme, for sauce
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • mashed potatoes, for serving

  • Heat a Vasconia® Basics frying pan with Teflon™ over medium heat with olive oil, cook the salmon, add the asparagus, season with salt. Cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through, remove from the pan and place on a reserved tray.
  • Heat a Vasconia® Basics frying pan with Teflon™ with olive oil and butter, add the flour and cook until golden brown, add the garlic, heavy cream, add the white wine, lemon juice, and fresh thyme. Cook until the sauce thickens, reserve.
  • Serve salmon with mashed potatoes, asparagus, creamy lemon sauce, and sprinkled parsley. Enjoy.
