Shrimp Ceviche with Cocktail Sauce

1/2 cups red onion, chopped
6 cups water
3/4 cups lime juice
1/2 kilos shrimp
1/2 cups ketchup
1/3 cups fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons buffalo sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 avocado

Finely chop the onion and cilantro.
Bring 6 cups of water with 1/4 cup of lime juice to a boil.
Cook the shrimp for 3 minutes.
Dry the shrimp and rinse with cold water.
Peel the shrimp.
Mix the shrimp with 1/2 cup of lime juice in a bowl. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Add to the shrimp the onion, ketchup, cilantro, avocado, hot sauce, olive oil, and salt.
Mix and serve in cocktail glasses.
