Vietnamese Shrimp

A unique way to give a new twist to your shrimp preparations. This recipe is inspired by Vietnamese cuisine, where sweet, spicy, and savory flavors are fused.

  • 2 cups Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 1/4 cups ground ginger
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1.4 kilos shrimp, peeled, deveined, and headless.
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint, chopped

  • In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients except the shrimp, cilantro, and mint. Stir the preparation well. Reserve the marinade for at least one hour.
  • Place the shrimp in a bowl and add ½ cup of the mixture from above, marinate at room temperature for one hour.
  • Heat a skillet.
  • Grill the shrimp for 2 ½ minutes on each side. Once cooked, place them in the bowl with the rest of the marinade, add the cilantro and mint. Remove them from the marinade and serve.
