Smoked Salmon Pate

This delicious smoked salmon pate recipe can also be made with trout. It's a very tasty snack.

  • 600 grams smoked salmon
  • 1 stick cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups low-fat mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/8 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • cookies, or bread, for serving
  • parsley, for decoration

  • On a cutting board, chop the smoked salmon.
  • In a food processor, blend the salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper. Process until you have a smooth mixture.
  • Place the mixture in a deep bowl and combine with the green onion. Pour into a rectangular dish (in the shape of a pate), and if you are not serving it immediately, refrigerate.
