Smoked Salmon Pate

This rich smoked salmon pâté recipe can also be made with salmon trout. It is a very delicious snack.

  • 600 grams smoked salmon
  • 1 stick cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups low-fat mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/8 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • cookies, or bread, to accompany
  • parsley, to decorate

  • On a cutting board chop the smoked salmon.
  • In a food processor combine the salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper. Process until you have a uniform mixture.
  • Put the mixture in a deep bowl and combine with the chives. Pour into a rectangular baking dish (in the shape of a pate), and if it will not serve it immediately refrigerate.
