Sushi Donuts with Salmon, Tuna, Octopus, and Shrimp

This great original preparation of sushi donuts with tasty toppings of octopus, shrimp, fresh salmon, and tuna, with a touch of avocado, cream cheese, fresh cucumber strips, and black sesame; is the ideal dish to take to any gathering. Don't forget to accompany it with prepared soy sauce, Tampico sauce, and chipotle. How delicious!

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sushi rice, rinsed
  • 1/8 cups rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 100 grams octopus, cooked and sliced into thin, fine pieces
  • 100 grams salmon, sliced thinly
  • 100 grams tuna, sliced thinly
  • 100 grams shrimp, cleaned and peeled, opened butterfly style
  • 1 avocado, sliced thinly
  • 100 grams cream cheese, sliced finely
  • 1/2 cups black sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cups ponzu sauce
  • 1/2 cups Tampico sauce
  • 1/2 cups chipotle chilli sauce

  • Heat water in a small pot over medium heat, add the rice, and cook covered on low heat for 20 minutes or until cooked. Spread it on a tray to cool. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix vinegar with sugar, drizzle over the rice preparation, stir with forks to avoid clumping, and let it absorb. Set aside.
  • On a board, place a large ring and a small one in the center, grease with sesame oil, fill with rice, compress well, and remove the ring. Form several rice donuts. Set aside.
  • Cover the rice donuts with thin slices of octopus, salmon, tuna, and shrimp, add avocado, a slice of cream cheese per donut, and at one end completely cover with black sesame and cucumber, add a little Tampico and chipotle sauce.
  • Serve the sushi donuts and accompany with soy sauce.
