This recipe for Mexican tuna tostadas is very economical, easy, and is made with basic pantry ingredients, such as canned tuna, vegetables, and tostadas.
3 cans canned tuna in water, for the filling (drained)
2 Romaine lettuces, for the filling
1 teaspoon cumin, for the filling
3 avocados, for the filling
salt, for seasoning
pepper, for seasoning
1/2 cups tostadas, for serving

Heat the oil in a pan, then add the onion, sauté for 1 minute, and when it is transparent, add the tomato, garlic, and finally the chopped green chili to continue cooking for 8 more minutes.
Add the tuna to the pan and mix in, cook for 3 more minutes, and season with salt and ground black pepper.
Slice the lettuce and avocado. Set aside.
On a tostada, serve the Mexican tuna filling and garnish with sliced lettuce, chopped cilantro, and avocado slices to taste.
