Potato Fritters with Tuna and Fresh Cheese

These potato fritters with tuna are ideal for family meals, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Kids and adults will love them; they are simply delicious served with a green salad.

  • 3 potatoes, Peeled, quartered, and cooked
  • 1/2 cups queso fresco, grated
  • 280 grams canned tuna in water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • salt

  • lettuce, for serving
  • tomato, for serving
  • cucumber, for serving

  • In a bowl, mash the cooked potatoes.
  • Mix the potatoes with the fresh cheese, tuna, cornstarch, flour, cilantro, and mix until integrated. Season with salt.
  • Make potato fritters.
  • In a medium skillet, heat the oil and fry the fritters on both sides until they are golden brown.
  • Serve with a fresh salad of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
