Tuna bread

One way to surprise family and friends is with this novel preparation where tuna is the main ingredient and the presentation is very appetizing. Ideal as a main dish but also serves as a snack or appetizer.

  • 3 cans tuna
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 bolillo rolls
  • 1/2 cups cola
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 lime
  • salt
  • pepper

  • The bolillo is soaked in cola soda, and once it absorbs it, it is squeezed.
  • In a bowl, the drained tuna is placed and crumbled.
  • The soaked and squeezed bread is added.
  • Chopped onion and parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper, oil, and the two egg yolks are added.
  • Separately, the 2 egg whites are beaten to a stiff peak and added to the mixture, stirring to combine.
  • A baking dish is greased with butter and a little bread crumbs is sprinkled.
  • The preparation is poured into the dish, a little bread crumbs is sprinkled on top, and it is baked at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
  • Insert the tip of a knife, and if it comes out clean, it is ready.
