Carrot and Cassava Puree

The carrot and cassava puree is packed with fiber, which helps your baby have proper digestion. It also contains a good portion of carotenoids, which are excellent for reducing the likelihood of certain cancers, along with a good amount of omega-3.

  • 1/2 cups cassava
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup almond milk

  • Wash, disinfect, and peel the carrots and cassava. Cut them into medium cubes.
  • Add 200 ml of water to the steam cooker (up to the line) of the Evenflo Advance®. Place the base of the steam cooker. Add the sweet potato and carrot cubes. Close the lid of the steam cooker and press the steam button. Allow them to cook for 15 minutes.
  • Transfer the cassava and carrot to the blender container of the Evenflo Advance®, add the almond milk. Cover it with the blade base. Place the blender container and turn it clockwise. Press the power button of the blender, blend the puree for 30 seconds or until smooth.
