Argentinian Chimichurri

This easy chimichurri recipe is the perfect accompaniment for grilled meat.

  • 5 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons ground dried chili
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cups water, warm
  • 1/2 cups wine vinegar
  • 1 cup safflower oil

  • Heat the water, preferably in the container where the chimichurri will be stored.
  • Mix the dry ingredients (oregano and chili), then add them to the water to hydrate.
  • Add the garlic, parsley, pepper, salt, vinegar, and oil to the container, mix, and it's ready.
