Green Salad with Pear and Walnut

This is a simple salad but with a pleasant appearance that evokes something fresh and delicious while the sweet and salty makes a good combination. An easy-to-prepare green salad with a flavor that you will love.

  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 3/4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1 bag mixed lettuce
  • 2 pears, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup panela cheese
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, candied
  • salt, to taste
  • pomegranates, necessary amount

  • For the dressing: In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, cream, vinegar, oil, onion, pepper, and salt. Mix it well and set aside.
  • Candied walnuts. You can buy them, but if you want to make them, in a pot put 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water, as well as 1 cup of walnuts, and let it become a syrup, stirring constantly. Once the walnuts are ready, take them out and place them on wax paper, separating them so they don’t stick together. Once cooled, add 1/2 cup or the amount to your liking to the salad.
  • On individual plates or in a large serving dish, arrange the lettuce leaves. Place the slices of pear around the edge of the plate and sprinkle the cheese, walnuts, pomegranate, or you can add blueberries on top.
