Jicama Tacos with Ham and Cheese Salad

Eating tacos will never be as healthy and delicious as with this recipe for Jicama Tacos with Ham and Cheese Salad. This is an excellent dish option for Lent or for hot days. These tacos are ideal for when you are trying to eat fewer carbohydrates, as we replace the tortilla with slices of jicama. A great tip for when making jicama tacos is not to assemble them too far in advance to avoid them getting soggy.

  • 1/2 Fud® low fat panela cheese
  • 3 slices Fud Cuida-T +® virginia turkey ham
  • 1/2 cups cucumber, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups mango, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups celery, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups tomato, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, dry
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 jicamas, cut into thin slices for tacos
  • 1 avocado, cut into slices, for decoration

  • On a cutting board, use a knife to cut the reduced-fat FUD® Panela Cheese and the FUD Cuida-t +® Turkey Ham into small cubes.
  • Mix them with cucumber, mango, celery, tomato, season with lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the jicama slices on a board, fill them, roll them up, and decorate with avocado. Enjoy.
