Oatmeal with Apples and Honey

  • 3 1/2 cups skim milk, or skimmed
  • 2/3 cups dried apple
  • 1/4 cups honey
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cups pistachios
  • 2 cups oats, uncooked

  • Bring the milk, apples, honey, and cinnamon to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Add the oatmeal and bring to a boil again. Reduce to medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the oatmeal sit until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Serve it in a deep plate and garnish with pistachios.
