Pita Bread with Spinach and Feta Cheese

  • 220 grams FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 250 grams flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons table salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup feta cheese

  • In a large bowl, mix the FAGE Total® 0% Greek Style Yogurt with the salt. Combine the flour with the baking powder and gradually add it to the bowl.
  • Incorporate the ingredients until a dough forms. Sprinkle a little flour on the table and knead until you have a smooth, lump-free dough. Place it in a glass bowl, cover it, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Once the 15 minutes have passed, take the dough and divide it into 4 portions, rolling them out on a lightly floured table. Roll them out as thin as possible. Add 1/4 of the spinach and crumbled feta cheese to each quarter.
  • Heat a skillet or griddle and add a little vegetable oil. Cook the pita breads on each side until lightly browned. Once cooked, cut them into triangles and serve.
