Stuffed Peppers with Meat

If you like lasagna, try this healthier and delicious option made with bell peppers, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. This is a gluten-free lasagna recipe.

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 580 grams tomato sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt with onion
  • 2 tablespoons seasoning

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Heat a skillet with oil and onion.
  • When the onion is golden, add the ground meat, then stir and let it cook covered with the two bay leaves.
  • When the meat is cooked, remove the lid and pour in the tomato sauce and season with the spices.
  • Take the peppers and, with the help of a knife, remove the top and the center, then fill them with the (previously made) meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, and season with complete seasoning.
  • Place the tops on your peppers and bake for 30 minutes.
