Bacon Wire Roll

Turn on your oven to prepare this Bacon Wire Roll. Change the traditional recipe for wires with this original preparation. To make this roll, we chose to use flank steak. We recommend making delicious tacos with this roll. Prepare a delicious guacamole as a side dish for the Bacon Wire Roll. You can also make a pico de gallo sauce to serve with the tacos.   • 30 slices bacon
  • 1 kilo skirt steak, sliced very thin
  • 2 cups bell pepper, colored, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup Poblano chile, diced
  • 2 cups Oaxaca cheese, shredded
  • Sal Sol® sea salt
  • black pepper, ground
  • guacamole, for serving
  • pico de gallo, for serving
  • parsley, fresh, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 200° C.
  • On a baking tray lined with aluminum foil, arrange the bacon slices to cover the entire surface. Place the flank steak on top, ensuring there are no gaps between them.
  • Fill with the bell pepper, onion, poblano pepper, and Oaxaca cheese, season to taste with Sal de Mar Sal Sol® and pepper, roll to form a roll, wrapping it well with aluminum foil.
  • Bake the roll for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, take off the aluminum foil, and return to the oven for another 15 minutes or until the bacon is golden brown. Let the roll rest before slicing and serve with guacamole, pico de gallo, and parsley.
