Delicious Red Pozole

Delicious red pozole recipe to prepare on any day or for a special occasion, accompanied by classic tostadas. It's a typical Mexican dish that you must try.

  • 1 kilo corn
  • 1 kilo pork
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, diced into cubes
  • 10 radishes
  • 5 guajillo chiles
  • 1 clove garlic
  • tostadas, necessary amount
  • sour cream, for the tostadas

  • Boil the guajillo chili in a little water for at least 10 minutes; once ready, blend it, strain it, and set aside.
  • In the pressure cooker, cook the corn with water, the pork meat, a piece of onion, garlic, and salt to taste. Add the ground guajillo chili and let it cook for at least 30 minutes.
  • While your corn is cooking, chop your onion, lettuce, radishes, and set aside.
  • Once the pozole is ready, take the meat out of the pot, shred it separately, and set it aside for serving.
  • In a pozole bowl (optional), serve your pozole and add the meat, lettuce, onion, radishes, and oregano. A few drops of lemon (optional) and you're done. Enjoy your meal.
