Glazed Salmon

Prepare this delicious balsamic glazed salmon infused with basil. The texture of the salmon remains tender as it is covered by a flavorful sauce. This dish is perfect for an elegant dinner or a romantic evening.

  • 4 salmon fillet, with skin
  • 200 milliliters balsamic vinegar
  • 50 milliliters white wine
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 2 garlic
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 50 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on all sides of the salmon.
  • Cover a baking tray with aluminum foil and add a little oil. Place the salmon on top with the skin side down.
  • Sauté the chopped garlic and add the balsamic vinegar, white wine, honey, and Dijon mustard. Stir until you achieve a slightly thick sauce.
  • Brush the salmon with 1/3 of the sauce and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush the salmon again with another third of the sauce, return it to the oven for another 5-7 minutes. Repeat one last time to brush the salmon a total of three times.
