Cold Pasta

Cold pasta is an ideal recipe for summer; this preparation is very fresh and delicious, and once you cook it, it needs to be stored in the refrigerator. It’s a recipe that works great for a picnic day.

  • 100 grams short pasta, elbow macaroni
  • 1 can canned pineapple
  • 4 sprigs celery
  • 5 slices deli ham, (thick cut, diced)
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • granulated chicken bouillon
  • salt, and pepper

  • In a saucepan with boiling water, add the chicken broth and the pasta. When it is al dente, drain it and place it in a bowl with cold water.
  • Cut the ham and pineapple into medium cubes. Chop the celery finely.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cream, mayonnaise, and pineapple juice until fully combined. Then, pour it over the pasta and stir gently.
  • Mix everything with the pasta.
  • Cover the pasta with plastic wrap or place it in a closed container, refrigerate for an hour before serving.
