Chicken Lasagna Recipe

  • 1 cup double cream cheese, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups chicken broth, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for the sauce
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups celery, finely chopped, for the filling
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded, for the filling

  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, grated, for topping

  • In a small pot over medium heat, bring water to a boil, add salt and lasagna, cook for 5 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • For the sauce, blend the onion, garlic, milk, double cream cheese, chicken broth, oregano, salt, and pepper until completely mixed. Set aside.
  • For the filling, in a pan over medium heat, melt the butter, sauté the onion and celery until they change color, add the chicken and white sauce; season with salt and pepper, incorporate the chopped parsley and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • In a baking dish, place a layer of pasta, pour in the chicken filling with white sauce, add the manchego cheese until fully covered, and repeat until all ingredients are used. On the last layer, sprinkle oregano and parsley; bake for 15 minutes.
  • Serve with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
