Long Pasta in Corn and Bacon Sauce

It is a simple pasta to prepare with a rich flavor that contrasts between sweet and salty since its main ingredient is sweet corn, which is accompanied by bacon.

  • 1 onion
  • 500 grams bacon
  • 220 grams sweet corn
  • 220 grams whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Cook the pasta until it reaches your preferred doneness; in this case, it is better if it remains al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, place the finely grated onion in a saucepan with the diced bacon and the tablespoon of butter, cooking over medium heat until the bacon is golden brown.
  • Add the can of corn, a little salt and pepper, stir, and let it sit for a minute to allow the corn to absorb the flavors.
  • Add the melted cheese, heavy cream, and the whole cup of milk, stirring until the mixture is homogeneous, and cook on low heat for 5 more minutes.
  • Remove from heat, serve the pasta portions on their respective plates, and then add the sauce and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
