Pasta al Limon with Shrimp

This delicious pasta that includes lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon slices with a creamy base is delightful. Shrimp and lemon make a very good combination.

  • 350 grams linguine pasta
  • 500 grams shrimp, jumbo peeled and deveined
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cups fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 lime zest
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1/4 limes, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flake
  • coarse salt

  • Place a large pot with plenty of coarse salt to boil and cook the linguini in the boiling water for 7-10 minutes or according to the pasta instructions.
  • While the pasta is cooking, in a deep skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper and cook for 5 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink.
  • Remove from heat and add the parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and chili. Mix well.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain and mix it with the sauce and shrimp, serve.
