Bring a large pot of water with plenty of salt to a boil. Once the water is boiling, cook the pasta for 5 minutes or until al dente. Remove from the water and drain, rinse with a little cold water to stop the cooking.
While the pasta is cooking, make the sauce. Heat the olive oil in a small pan and sauté the garlic for 2-3 minutes.
In a food processor or blender, mix the basil with the oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and cream.
Return the sauce to the pan and heat. Add the pine nuts.
Toss the pasta with the sauce.
