Ingredients

6 servings
  • 500 grams of fettuccine type pasta
  • 1/2 Cup of basil
  • 1/4 of Cup of pinion
  • 1 piece of green lemon its juice and the scratch of its shell
  • 1/8 of Cup of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic crushed and chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of cream
  • leaves of basil to decorate

    Preparation

    Boil a large pot with plenty of water and plenty of salt. Once the water boils cook the pasta for 5 minutes or until it is al dente. Remove from the water and strain, rinse with a little cold water to stop cooking.
    While the pasta is cooking, make the sauce. Heat the olive oil in a small skillet and brown the garlic for 2-3 minutes.
    In a food processor or blender, mix the basil with the oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest and cream.
    Return the sauce to the pan and heat. Add the pine nuts.
    Mix the pasta with the sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish the pasta with the basil leaves when serving.

    TIPS

    It is very important that the water where you cook the pasta is very salty. This season the pasta and makes it cook uniformly.
