Heat the oil and add onion and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the olives and stir for one minute.
Add the tomatoes, water, and half of the parsley.
Season with salt and pepper. Lower the heat and cook covered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Drain the pasta and add the sauce, serve immediately. Sprinkle the rest of the chopped parsley.
