Penne Rigate with Arrachera

  • 500 grams penne pasta, Luigi High Protein Rigate
  • 600 grams skirt steak, in strips
  • 2 cans bell pepper, grilled
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle chile, marinated
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • ground black peppers, thick

  • In a pan with oil, fry the onion, remove it, and add the butter; melt it and add the finely ground peppers, chipotle sauce, ketchup, honey, vinegar, and orange juice.
  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes to thicken (the sauce should be completely smooth).
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain.
  • Fry or grill the arrachera, basting it with a bit of the sauce, and lightly season the pasta with the remaining sauce.
  • Drizzle the pasta with a bit of pepper and serve hot.
