Rigatoni with Spicy Sauce and Goat Cheese

Rigatoni accompanied by meatballs in a red sauce based on Prego® Traditional Sauce, with a spicy touch of árbol chili and sprinkled with goat cheese and fresh basil. The best recipe!

  • 1 package rigatoni, 500g
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups dried árbol chile, in rings
  • 1/2 bunches basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cups goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 Prego® traditional sauce, 680g
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, crumbled, for garnish
  • 1/2 bunches basil, for garnish

  • Heat water over high heat in a deep pot until boiling, add the package of Rigatoni pasta. Cook, drain, and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic until translucent, add the árbol chili, basil, goat cheese, and Prego® Traditional Sauce. Set aside.
  • Form small meatballs with the ground meat and add to the sauce. Cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Season and set aside.
  • Incorporate the pasta into the previous mixture and mix very well.
  • Serve the pasta, finishing with parmesan cheese and basil.
