Pasta with Bolognese Sauce

Bolognese pasta is an irresistible dish and is very nutritious as it contains all food groups.

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • salt, to taste

  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 750 grams tomato

  • 1 canned tomato
  • 1 package spaghetti

  • Heat a skillet, add the meat, onion, garlic, and carrot. Cook until the meat is almost cooked through.
  • Add the oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the canned tomatoes, chopped tomatoes, and tomato puree. Pour in the white wine and let it boil; the sauce will change to a darker color.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. After that time, the sauce will be thick.
  • Cook the pasta as indicated on the package.
  • Drain the pasta, serve it on a plate, and top with sauce.
