Red Spaghetti

A very simple red spaghetti recipe to cook in a moment of need.

  • 1 kilo spaghetti
  • 2 onions, white
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 tomatillos
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 cups water
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • Parmesan cheese, to taste

  • In a pot, bring the pasta to a boil with four cups of water and a handful of salt.
  • To make the sauce: first chop the onions, crush the garlic cloves.
  • In a hot skillet with olive oil, add the chopped onions, let them brown for 1 minute and add the crushed garlic.
  • Add the tomatoes, which you have previously peeled, chopped, and blended in a blender.
  • Let the flavors mix for 2 minutes. Stir the mixture well, add salt to your taste. Now, check the sauce. Add the carrots, which you have previously grated. Then, add half a cup of the noodle broth.
  • Let the sauce cook.
  • Finally, pour the sauce into the pasta pot and stir well. Once ready, serve immediately. Grate the parmesan cheese and it's done.
