Caesar Salad with Shrimp

This is a healthy recipe recommended for the whole family, as adding shrimp to this salad will not only give it a very special and different flavor, but also provides protein, vitamins, and minerals, in addition to being low in calories and having no carbohydrates.

  • 8 cups Romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups shrimp, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • pinches salt
  • pinches pepper
  • 2/3 cups whole-wheat pasta, (feather)
  • 4 tablespoons Caesar dressing, light

  • On a baking tray, place the walnuts and bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C. Let cool and set aside.
  • In a small pot over medium heat, heat the water and once it starts to boil, add the pasta and cook for 10 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, place the chopped lettuce, add the pasta, shrimp, olive oil, toasted walnuts, and mix with the help of a spoon.
  • Add dressing to taste and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
