Salad with Pomegranate, Pear, and Granola

  • 1 cup Kellogg’S® granola ancestral grains; sunflower seeds, amaranth and raisins
  • 1/2 cups pomegranate seed
  • 1/2 cups pear
  • 1/4 cups gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups butterhead lettuce, washed and disinfected
  • 1/2 cups red cabbage, washed

  • Tear the French lettuce into strips by hand to avoid oxidation. Slice the red cabbage into strips and mix it with the French lettuce. Cut the pear into thin crescent-shaped slices and add it to the salad.
  • Cut the pomegranate in half and, using a spoon, tap the back of the shell to release the seeds. Combine the pomegranate with crumbled gorgonzola cheese, lettuce, and cabbage. Sprinkle Kellogg's® Ancient Grains Granola; sunflower seeds, amaranth, and raisins on top.
  • Keep the salad refrigerated until it's time to serve.
