Seared Tuna Salad

A delicious and very healthy tuna salad sealed on a bed of lettuce and with an oriental dressing.

  • 1 kilo tuna steak
  • 45 milliliters olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sea ​​salt
  • pepper
  • 100 lime juice
  • 30 milliliters soy sauce
  • 5 milliliters Tabasco sauce
  • 2 avocados
  • 100 grams red onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cups butterhead lettuce, in pieces

  • Marinade the tuna steaks with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Seal the fillets in a very hot pan just 1 minute on each side to ensure they are cooked on the outside but raw inside.
  • In a deep bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and soy.
  • Cut the avocado into cubes and add to the dressing.
  • Cut the tuna into slices and place over the lettuce.
  • Add the purple onion and the dressing and serve.
