Classic Caesar Salad Dressing

If you want to make a Caesar salad but don’t know what the original dressing is, instead of buying a high-calorie one at the store, try making it yourself with this recipe.

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 anchovy, sliced thin
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • salt, and pepper

  • In a food processor, process the egg yolks, anchovies, garlic, mustard, and lemon juice.
  • While the processor is still running, slowly add the oil to form a smooth dressing. Season with salt and pepper and stir once more to combine all the ingredients.
