Red guacamole

This red guacamole recipe is an excellent option for preparing a different snack. Additionally, it pairs wonderfully with your tacos or stews, its great flavor will leave you speechless!

  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil, for the salsa macha
  • 3 guajillo chiles, for the salsa macha
  • 10 árbol chiles, for the salsa macha
  • 3 cloves garlic, for the salsa macha
  • 1/4 onions, for the salsa macha
  • 1 tortillas, for the salsa macha
  • 1/4 cups sesame seeds, for the salsa macha
  • coarse salt, for the salsa macha
  • 3 avocados, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 teaspoons onion powder, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups cilantro, for the guacamole
  • tortilla chips, to accompany

  • For the salsa macha: Heat the oil over low heat, sauté the guajillo chiles, árbol chiles, garlic cloves, onion, and tortilla. Remove from heat, let cool, and set aside.
  • Blend the previous preparation with salt for 5 minutes or until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  • Serve the salsa macha in a deep plate and add the toasted sesame seeds. Set aside.
  • Place the avocados in the molcajete, mash with lemon juice, season with garlic, onion, salt, and cilantro.
  • Pour the salsa macha in the center of the guacamole and serve with totopos. Enjoy the red guacamole!
