Traditional Pico de Gallo Salsa

Traditional and delicious pico de gallo salsa that you can pair with your favorite Mexican dishes. Especially for molletes.

  • 3 tomatoes, small
  • 1 onion, little
  • 5 serrano chiles, smalls
  • 1 sprig fresh cilantro
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • black pepper, freshly ground (preferably coarse ground)

  • Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, and serrano pepper into small cubes.
  • Chop the cilantro very finely.
  • Place all the chopped ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add a drizzle of olive oil, stir, and adjust salt and pepper if necessary.
  • Serve on a plate in the center of the table.
