Oven-Baked Potatoes with Thyme

The secret to good oven-baked potatoes is that they must be boiled first to keep them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

  • 700 grams potato
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped

  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease two baking sheets with olive oil.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks.
  • Cook the potatoes in boiling water until they are half-cooked, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the water and dry well with paper towels.
  • Place the potatoes on the baking sheets with a little more olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake for 25 minutes, turning them every 10 minutes.
