Potatoes in Cream with Ham and Cheese

  • 1 potato, large
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 6 slices deli ham, diced
  • 1/2 onions, slice
  • 1 serrano chile, cut into strips
  • 40 grams butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • pepper

  • Peel the potato and slice it into not too thin rounds.
  • Place the water in a small pot and cook the potatoes with the garlic (do not overcook) for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain.
  • In a skillet, add the butter to melt; sauté the chili with the onion and ham, add the potatoes and stir constantly.
  • Add the cream, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Incorporate the Oaxaca cheese over low heat for about 5 minutes. Serve.
