Baked Rice with Spinach and Gouda Cheese

You have never tried baked rice like this. It is very creamy and is accompanied by spinach and a touch of poblano strips, but the best part is that it is gratinée with Gouda cheese, which gives it a delicious flavor and the best texture. Try it!

  • 2 cups Great Value® white rice, cooked and cold
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 Great Value® frozen poblano chili, cut into strips
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • In a bowl, carefully mix the rice with the spinach, chiles, cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour into the greased dish and spread it out. Cover with cheese and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to gratin the cheese. Serve immediately. Buy HERE
